Highly Scented Jar Candles

Scented jar candles that smell awesome and burn all the wax away. No tunneling and no sooting with these! When burned (a minimum) 5 hours at each lighting, these highly scented jar candles liquify, and burn across the jar and then down which means no wax left on the sides of the jar. These container candles are meant to be “all-day” candles, burn these if you’ll be home for at least 5 hours straight.

As with all of the Candlelicious candles, these highly scented jar candles have 100% cotton wicks, are triple-scented, and burn clean. Always keep the wick trimmed to 1/8”, before lighting and during the burn. Proper wick maintenance is imperative for a clean burning and long lasting candle.

Highly scented jar candles saturated with fragrance oil scientifically developed for maximum scent output. Candles made elsewhere typically contain fragrance oil that can also be used for bath salts, body lotion, and soap. This “general purpose” fragrance oil is cheaper and less potent. Although it can be used in candles, it maintains the “jack of all trades” status, and is master of none. We use high-performance fragrance oil that is specifically made ONLY for candles AND we use an unprecedented amount of fragrance oil. We don’t cut corners and we continuouly outperform the competition.

Our classy 14 ounce glass apothecary jars (keepsake style) are a must for any “diehard candle user.” Fill your room with rich aroma for many hours and create fragrance and ambiance unmatched by any other. Candlelicious container candles burn approximately 70-75 hours.

Every time jar candles are lit they should be burned until the liquid wax (melt pool) reaches the sides of the jar.  As the candle burns deeper into the jar, the venting lid will creat the melt pool quicker, the wax reaches the sides of the jar faster, creating even more aroma. All of the wax melts down, leaving no wax on the sides of the jar when the candle is finished, GUARANTEED!

It is imperative that the wick be kept trimmed at all times during burning.The candle will last 25% longer by keeping the wick trimmed. The further the flame gets down into the jar, the more often you’ll need to trim the wick. As the flame gets deeper into the jar, the oxygen supply gets less and less, causing the flame to flicker more (striving for oxygen) and this where the venting lid works wonders. The venting lid eliminates the wildly flickering flame by providing a steady even oxygen supply, and a steady efficient flame. A venting lid and instructions are included free with each jar candle.

For safety reasons discontinue use when there is 1/4” of wax left at the bottom.

Did you see the flame flickering wildly as soon as the venting lid was removed? That, my dear, is how soot can form on your jar. The flame is so low in the jar that it is striving for oxygen, it flickers because of this. When the flame flickers it is not burning as efficiently as it could be if the flow of air is regulated and that is where the venting cap comes in. Our brushed aluminum tins are filled with over a quarter pound of wax, burns over 30 hours, and makes a great “take-a-long” candle. Yes, you can use our jar candles on the jar candle warmers! No, they don’t have to actually “be” wickless candles to be able to use them on a “wickless” candle warmer.

When using our jar candles on a jar candle warmer you should know that wax expands when it is hot and it contracts when it is cold. When the jar candle is completely liqud, it will be darn close to the top of the jar. We recommend dumping out part of the wax so that it isn’t so full. You can dump it into a styrofoam cup or a pie tin and let it harden. After your jar candle finally loses its aroma on the warmer you can dump it out and put in the wax you saved and get more scent out of the candle.

 With all candles, remember to trim the wick. If the candle’s flame is too tall you’ll notice a little smoke coming from the wick. Generally a candle may smoke when  first lit, and if left burning for extended periods of time. Always make sure the wick is right in the center of the candle. Highly scented jar candles burn best when the flame is about 1/2” tall..
